As One Chapter Ends, Another One Begins
Our human form has a beginning and end and if viewed from a bigger perspective, it really is only a very short chapter in our life.
On the other hand our life force energy begins and has no ending like “The Never Ending Story”.
Unfortunately when we come to Earth we are inside a time warp, where time moves very slowly and therefore we come to the conclusion that this journey which we call “human life” must be all there is.
However if we are able to see this “human being experience” as a mini book within a much larger book, we can start to see that even though there are many significant events that mark different chapters to our human life they are all happening for a specific purpose and that is to wake us up.
So as one chapter ends and another one begins, we can either learn and move forward getting closer to the end of the book or we can get caught up in the pain, fear and anger and redo the previous chapter again.
It’s important to understand for our personal growth to take place we can’t be attached to the outcome at the end of each chapter.
This means we can’t expect things to be a certain way. As when we cling to or push away a situation, event, major learning, emotion or person, this can lead to turning the story into a ‘choose your own adventure book’, where we are never satisfied with the ending so we keep going back to the start of the story to try and elicit the ending we want. Which in turn means that we never learn the lesson each chapter is designed to teach us, because we keep skipping or missing them.
The point of our life is to experience every chapter in the story and not get so caught up in how it’s all going to end. We came to experience this human form for the fun of it. So let go of the resistance and enjoy the ride.
Each moment is a gift to enjoy or learn from. Each chapter we complete is a lesson learnt, which then allows us to grow, evolve and increase our energy vibration.
It is important to awaken and understand the lessons so we don’t keep re-reading the same chapter over and over again. This repetitive loop is the Universes’ way of saying “you haven’t learnt the lesson, expanded with consciousness or are ready to receive the message and teachings to connect with your higher self.”
Mindfulness is a great tool to help us connect our higher self, as it can open our eyes to see what we are clinging on to or what we are avoiding. It also helps us get perspective of the truth “As one chapter ends, another one begins”, which helps alleviate fear and worry.
Everything is constantly changing, constantly moving there is no real beginning or end, our reality of what is, is what is stopping us from taking chances and from moving forward.
Yes this physical life of being a human being has a beginning and end but we are more than that and to find the key to remembering who we are, we need to get still and quiet. A great way to get still and quiet and connect with our self is to meditate.
When we meditate we open the door to remembering that we are an infinite being and that there is nothing to be fearful of.
There are many ways to meditate but a great meditation for beginners is the Breath Meditation where we focus on the sensation of the breath moving in and out of the body. Any time the mind wanders away with a thought or worry we bring our focus back to the breath, back to the present, over time this will help quiet the mind and body; note this does not happen overnight, it can take many hours, weeks, months or years of practice.
This can seem like a long time and at first we might think we are doing it wrong as we can’t stop the mind from thinking, however we mustn’t fall into the trap of judging ourselves, if we were learning the piano we wouldn’t expect our self to know how to play Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata by the end of the week.
If we want to stop re-reading the same chapters of our life, never moving forward, then I recommend you start a mindfulness practice. Mindfulness is the key to waking up and seeing our patterns of behavior, so we can learn our lessons, which then allows us to complete each chapter of this mini book of our never ending story.
