Step 62- What your business excels at, journal and consistency
This month we explore values & purpose, business branding and walking as a way to build healthy habits.
Welcome to Step 62 of The Prosperity Project Journey of 1000 Steps.
In today's business task Nina asks you to write things that your business excels at better than other businesses in your industry.
For mindfulness, you will be asked to journal on questions about what's most important, values in and about your life, and what would be difficult to live without.
We will continue walking task, remember you are aiming for consistency! It's better to walk for 5 mins each day and build a daily habit than go walking for 10kms on a Sunday and do nothing on any other day.
Have a great day today!
YOU have the power to create
YOU have the passion to succeed
YOU have resources to find a solution
Body Task: Keep Moving
Put your shoes on and go for a walk during your lunch break
One of the key steps to having a healthy body is to move it whenever you can.
All that is required to complete today's body task is to get your trainers on at lunch time and go for a nice leisurely stroll around the block.
If you are totally quarantined in the house or at work, look for stairs or a place somewhere in the house or at work where you can walk on the spot if you have to!!
Just make sure wherever you are--that you are interrupting the habit of being stationary at lunch, and replacing the habit with getting up and moving about instead.
Although this task seems simple it has been designed to encourage consistency and habit building.
Every single person can take a minimum 4 minutes out of their day to exercise.
Please remember this is all about forming habits.
If you want to track your steps or know how many km's you've done we recommend that you invest in a Garmin watch but also looks great too, so you can go from walking and back to the office and still look the part 😉

Mind Task: Values & Purpose
Blog Piece Mindset Task Crossroads
Today we want to start thinking about our Values and Purpose. Yesterdays’ blog piece was written to bring awareness to how you cope with decision and crossroads in your life. Do you find that you are happy with your decision or do you find that you are always regretting them? Let’s journal about the following questions:
1. What are the most important things in my life?
2. What do I value in and about my life?
3. What would be difficult to live without?
Take the time to really think about the things you couldn’t survive without when you answer these questions.
Business Task: Business Branding
Write a list of 5-10 things your business excels at better than any other business in your industry.
If you are currently running an existing business, side hustle or hobby, then this exercise will be easy for you as you already have existing customers to contact and ask their opinion OR you have your own experience and data to pull from.
If your business is brand new though, don't despair! Simply choose 5-10 things you want your new business to be known for and excel at.
The idea for today's task is a mini exercise to get you ready for when you learn to value your worth in both an offline AND online manner, and it begins by acknowledging the things your business does so awesomely, that nobody else in your community does.
This task has an added lesson to it which we also spoke about at Step 32, and that question is:
If you were to show up in the world as fully as possible with these 5-10 things your business excels at...how would the world see you?
What negative side effects would occur?
Today, and in conjunction with your marketing task I gave you above, I want you to really think about the 5-10 things your business excels at, and then as truthfully as possible apply them to the journaling task Amanda gave you in s tep 32 and write down the negative that would occur if your business did show up fully with all it's gifts and talents.
The reason behind the second part of this task is to make you realise.....
the things that define your business as unique when compared to someone else's are the things which can really be your strengths.
Have fun with this task, and if you would like to discuss it further, please feel free to reach out and connect in the community forum.
