Step 67- The who customer, light/heavy tool and no excuses
This month we explore values & purpose, business branding and walking as a way to build healthy habits.
Hello and Welcome to Step 67 of The Prosperity Project Journey of 1000 Steps.
Today's mind task is definitely not something you want to miss. We learn about a light/heavy tool which once learned, can be incorporated into your daily decision making, whether small or big.
For our business task, Nina asks us the question, who needs to know about what your business has to offer?
For our body, make no excuse to avoid going for a quick walk.
YOU have the power to create, YOU have the passion to succeed and YOU have resources to find a solution!

Body Task: Keep Moving
Put your shoes on and go for a walk during your lunch break
One of the key steps to having a healthy body is to move it whenever you can.
All that is required to complete today's body task is to get your trainers on at lunch time and go for a nice leisurely stroll around the block.
If you are totally quarantined in the house or at work, look for stairs or a place somewhere in the house or at work where you can walk on the spot if you have to!!
Just make sure wherever you are--that you are interrupting the habit of being stationary at lunch, and replacing the habit with getting up and moving about instead.
Although this task seems simple it has been designed to encourage consistency and habit building.
Every single person can take a minimum 4 minutes out of their day to exercise.
Please remember this is all about forming habits.
If you want to track your steps or know how many km's you've done we recommend that you invest in a Garmin watch but also looks great too, so you can go from walking and back to the office and still look the part 😉

Mind Task: Values & Purpose
Listen/Read Mind Talk: Light/Heavy Tool
Another tool we can use when making decision is the light and heavy tool by Dr Dain Heer – Founder of Access Consciousness.
What is true for you will always feel light
What is untrue (a lie) for you will always feel heavy
A catchy phrase to remember this is – “What is right, feels light.”
The important thing to note is that what is true for you may not be true for others and what is true for others may not be true for you and that is perfectly okay.
For example you may believe that there is something more than this life, when we die, only our physical body dies but our spirit still lives on; when you think about this, it feels light for you. But when you mention this to someone else in your life they don’t agree with you – they believe when you are dead that is it there is no more and this feels right to them.
It’s important to remember at times like these, that we are all living at different levels of consciousness, so different ideas/decision that feel heavy or light for us, will feel differently for others. The most important thing to remember is that you need to make your decisions based on what you feel and not what others feel.
When something is heavy you for you, you may have the following sensations: it doesn’t feel right, you feel uncomfortable, a heavy, dense sensation, you feel like you need to get away, get out, can’t be in around it, when you notice these sensations sit with them and be the investigator of what is happening.
This is a tool that needs to be practiced, as within our society we aren’t taught to connect with our body and the sensations that arise in us. We are taught to brush off our emotions, to push them down, to hide from them and this doesn’t allows us to connect with the emotion or the sensations is produced in our body.
Every thought we have creates an emotion, this emotion create a sensation in the body – so our job is to start reconnecting to our bodies and listening to the messages it is sending us.
So the next time you are making a decision and are unsure of what choice to make, take a moment to check into the body and see what feels light and what feels heavy. When we connect with our body we can learn to hear the messages it is sending us especially when we are making decision.
Business Task: Business Branding
Who needs to know about what your business has to offer?
Have you ever taken a minute to sit down and ask yourself what kind of customer needs to know about what your business has to offer them?
In marketing, we would say this is acknowledging your "Who" and it is just as important as defining your "why".
We will delve into your ideal customer much more in depth once we get to card 6, but for now, the goal of today is to begin thinking about who you can serve with the products and services you are offering in your business.
Is it a business? (B2B)
Is it a consumer? (B2C)
Take a moment today to decide exactly WHO it is that needs to know about what your business has to offer.
