Step 81- Take a break, textures and choose your business brand colours
This month we explore values & purpose, business branding and walking as a way to build healthy habits.
Welcome to Step 81 of The Prosperity Project Journey of 1000 Steps.
For today's business task we now move into choosing fonts to convey feelings that you want your business brand to evoke.
We continue body scan meditations with Amanda, today focusing on texture.
Don't forget to take a break from your busy day by completing the body task. Even a short break can clear the mind for a new perspective on tasks you may be stuck at.
Feel free to reach out to us at any time, we would love to hear your feedback and how you are progressing.
Have a great day today, and remember:
You have the power to create, You have the passion to succeed, You have the resources you need to find your solution
YOU have the power to create
YOU have the passion to succeed
YOU have resources to find a solution
Body Task: Keep Moving
Put your shoes on and go for a walk during your lunch break
One of the key steps to having a healthy body is to move it whenever you can.
All that is required to complete today's body task is to get your trainers on at lunch time and go for a nice leisurely stroll around the block.
If you are totally quarantined in the house or at work, look for stairs or a place somewhere in the house or at work where you can walk on the spot if you have to!!
Just make sure wherever you are--that you are interrupting the habit of being stationary at lunch, and replacing the habit with getting up and moving about instead.
Although this task seems simple it has been designed to encourage consistency and habit building.
Every single person can take a minimum 4 minutes out of their day to exercise.
Please remember this is all about forming habits.
If you want to track your steps or know how many km's you've done we recommend that you invest in a Garmin watch but also looks great too, so you can go from walking and back to the office and still look the part 😉

Mind Task: Values & Purpose
Meditate: Body Scan Meditation
Continue to listen to the Body Scan Meditation at your set time and in your set location and at the end of your practice journal about your experience.
Today’s task: If the sensation I felt in my body had a texture what would it be?
Remember any time you are feeling heightened with emotion, take the time to check into the body and see what part of the body this emotion is affecting.
If you want to extend your practice then there is a longer version of this meditation for sale in the shop.
Business Task: Business Branding
Choose Brand Fonts
When a customer visits your business in the “real world”, it is easy for them to describe their experience because all 5 senses have become aroused and activated-- a customer can see, touch, hear and smell many parts which contribute to the business “vibe” or feeling in doing so it becomes easy for customers to make judgements on how we “feel” about the business we are interacting with.
When a business gets online, and loses the ability to interact with customers face to face, instead relying on social media or a website-- it can be hard to convey a "vibe" or "feeling", or even worse-- a brand may create a website or social media which is conflicting or not really a true representation of the business customers truly want to support.
Understanding emotions and feelings are a very important part of committing to a digital strategy.
With each piece of content you make and create for your customer, you need to keep in mind- what do you want your customer to feel?
And perhaps more importantly….why do you want your customer to feel like this?
When somebody is visiting your website or social media, they are doing so for a reason, and part of the responsibility of your digital marketing is to acknowledge what this reason is, and the feeling or ambience/mood you are trying to convey.
Do you want your customer to feel:
Original or quirky?
these things need to be considered when we factor in things like brand colour, fonts and imagery.
Because you are tasked with creating a mood board, and yesterday you chose your brand colour, today when you add in your fonts, I want you to really look at your choices and ask yourself or your buddy whether or not the colours and fonts accurately convey the "feeling" or "vibe" of your brand.
If you get stuck, or need a buddy to bounce off and don't have one, reach out to me in the forum and I will help you as best I can!
