Good Morning fellow Journeymen (and women!) how are you all this morning?
Today is step 31 on our Journey of 1,000 Steps and marks a pivotal moment worth sharing with your inner circle.
Today, you have officially transitioned from card 1- The Voyage
To now moving onto card 2
The Unreliable Narrator.
As this occurs, there are a few things I went to share with you which you may want to keep an eye out as you move forward.
Not everyone is going to be excited to see these new changes in yourself.
If you have been trying to make change in your life for some time now– especially if you have repeatedly failed– the next 35 months of your journey may be met with scorn.
People who you thought loved or card for you may tease and make fun of you, doubt you, cause trouble for you, and be hell bent on doing anything in their path to stop you from moving forward.
If this occurs, don’t worry or fret.
Lean on your buddies in The Prosperity Project and know that we are going through it too, maybe not at the exact same point in time as you, but chances are at some point or another it is going to occur!
The next thing to keep an eye on which I have found happened to myself when I did the Apprentice Journey was:
You may run approx 4-6 weeks behind with your emotions.
What does this mean?
It means that although I was transitioning cards correctly on time (The Prosperity Project goes on– exactly as life goes on– nothing stops it once it is in motion!!) that my emotions took roughly a month to catch up….sometimes nearly two months.
Yes, I had done my mind, body, business lessons, but there were many times my mind, body and soul didn’t quite get the memo and needed time to catch up.
After a while I got used to this being my body’s way of needing time to register these new thoughts, patterns and beliefs.
If this happens to you also, I want to say, don’t freak out.
Your mind, body and business will work on their own schedule, not ours.
Just keep doing the best you can do and realise that this is what life is….
whether we like it or not, it just keeps marching forward– whether we are ready for it or not.
Lastly, the main other thing which may occur right about now is that the novelty has worn off.
What was originally fun and exciting is now stupid and overwheming.
What was I thinking?
What an idiot… Did I really think this was going to work?
Who am I kidding?
This is a bucketload of work for no payoff.
I’m better off spending my time elsewhere…
Please know that this thought will come up over and over for the next 36 months.
The Prosperity Project- Journey of 1,000 Steps isn’t a 5 minute course.
It’s an educational experience.
With three years as an apprentice and one year as a master, this journey is not for the faint hearted and it’s definitely not for everyone.
At the time of writing this, only 4 people have ever completed it.
My own teacher/student.
And another partcipiant.
Turning up each day for the world to see you in all your glorious mess and chaos isn’t for the faint of heart.
Chances are you will be:
- or anything else at least once or possibly more over the coming years.
On top of this, you may have your authority questioned, my authority or other facilitators authority tested, and a whole heap of people sharing their opinions very loudly about what you should or shouldn’t be doing.
The Prosperity Project- Journey of 1,000 Steps encourages all people from all walks of life to contribute to the project as guest facilitators.
Anybody sharing their time on here, puts in huge amounts of work. If there is another company or personal brand that wants to add their voice to the project, please forward a submission.
We celebrate diversity from women + men, students + teachers in many different modalities.
Losing sight of the shore takes bravery, courage and commitment to a future not yet dreamed or breathed into life, but after completing Card 1, you are armed with an inner moral compass to help you get through the good and bad days ahead, so don’t be afraid to refer to it as often as you need. Keep it somewhere safe, and know that it will forever hold you in good stead.
